Life has catapulted me a long way since I started writing this blog. Before you know it, it’s now been over a year since I’ve been carrying with me my breathing ailment.
What I initially thought of being a battle vs Covid ended up with me having breathing problems as my daily companion. Thanks to Acid Reflex – GERD in particular.
I vividly remember my struggle and paranoia during the first couple of weeks when these problems like shortness of breath showed up. Though there are days where it’s a bit more difficult than others, I’ve somewhat gotten used to it at large. It’s not really something that’s leaving me anytime soon, I suppose.

I decided to pull the plug early and exit in the best possible way to safety my sanity and have a peace of mind.
But peace of mind is something I’ve been short changed of lately. My mom has been suffering heavily since February because of a push by one of my drunk uncles. I suppose life does go on like the seasons of a year. Me starting out work in June was the spring. Promotion at the said workplace in November served as my Summer. The toxicity in the company and my lack of interest and motivation felt like autumn season… And here we are in the winter as my mom is in so much pain awaiting the biggest challenge yet to her health, which is this surgery.
I wonder if and when spring will kick in again.
